hypnagogic

I didn't know what hypnagogic was, so I looked in the dictionary.

To quote Dictionary.com:
"hypnagogic \hip-nuh-GOJ-ik; -GOH-jik\, adjective:
Of or relating to the state of drowsiness preceding sleep; – applied to the illusions of one who is half asleep.

Hypnagogic, sometimes spelled hypnogogic, ultimately derives from Greek hupnos, sleep + agogos, leading, from agein, to lead."
