The Avon lady would leave my aunt lipstick samples in little golden metal tubes. Very fascinating to a child. Most of the colors were reds.
Some say that Avon's »Skins So Soft« lotion will keep away mosquitos. I can't say if it works or not. I have also heard that carrying dryer sheets in your pocket will do the same.
