Insofar as the ultimate goal of the Cathar people was to be released from the bonded matter of flesh, bone and senses, they were expedited on their way to Heaven (or their configuration of it)by the Dominicans whose credo seemed to be »burn them all, God will know His Own!« Consequently, if, speculatively, they were right and »we« are wrong, then »we« are the poor fools and they are the severed perfect, or as the recent history of these people is entitled, »The Perfect Heresy.«
