I generally love flowers, blossoms, scents, colours. But yesterday I wondered – not for the first time – whether the entire world hasn't been busy gathering 'les fleurs du mal'.....
»And in the dust there blossoms red, life that shall endless be...« Seems to be happening in our garden at this very moment. The plant is called ranunculus (globe flower) and it's putting forth amazingly deep red, velvet flowers...out of mushroom compost!
