Goddess, mother, hear my prayers. I am a woman who is in love with you. I am a woman with so much to learn. Fill me with your wisdom and I will shine it out.

Why did goddesses (Egyptian, Greek, Roman, or whatever) never make the transition into the 'Great G' realm of monotheism? In other words, why are we stuck with one great male God, but no corresponding great female deity? Possibly, God is asking himself – in the continuing absence of herself – the same question.

I met a goddess today.
She smiled sweetly as my eyes caught hers.
And then in a flash of second of my life, she was gone. And with it, every ounce of hope i ever had.

Goddesses shouldn't just dissapear like that.
